I Got A Name - Jim Croce

When I reviewed these videos I was reminded of the late great Jim Croce. Highway footage was shot heading north along state route 74 - "Pines to Palms Highway" - on the outskirts of the Anza-Borrego State Park in southern California. It eventually empties into the Coachella Valley (Palm Desert, southeast from Palm Springs.)

It's funny that these are desert scenes. Years ago my family was traveling through the desert and we listened to this CD a dozen times or more. To me now, Jim Croce means the desert. And when I hear his music, I think of the desert.

@sunnchilde I hope you enjoyed the video. I shot some footage as an experiment and, after reviewing it and seeing the winding highway, this song started playing in my mind.

I loved listening to Croce when I was in my teens and I was so saddened when he passed away.

does anybody know where I can find footage like this (highways/roads) of various states in America? or even just a slideshow of "America"...you know...like new england, down south, mid west, south west ect...something that kind of encapsulates what america is.
