Well, it's possible he just took the diary, but I'm pretty sure he either killed or most likely turned David. David's character eventually winds up a vampire in the books and since a big part of the first half of the movie is all about Marius siring Lestat, I kind of figured he was making David his replacement.

This is one of my favorite parts of the movie! I also like the part where Lestat and Jesse are walking at the end and everything starts to blur and move really fast. Love QOTD! :)

Yeah buddy if that's what you want Manhattan is the place.Went to see a friends band play at a multistory club.Long story short I ended up getting bit by a hot vampiress who wanted to "sire" me.She also wacked the back of my head against an exposed steel girder and gave me a concussion,or so my friends told me.A massive brawl ensued while I was laying there knocked silly,or again,so I was told.The only thing I remember after she lunged was driving home with my bruised friends.

Jesse looked way better as a vampire! This was a pretty good movie but I liked Interview with the Vampire and the Lost Boys more.

I knew someone broke their neck... it's been a long time since I read QOTD. It wasn't my favorite. Interview and Lestat were my favorite Anne Rice Books. I quit reading after QOTD.
