I made this to honor the simple beauty of our universe.

I really liked the original ANHM clip but the audio was just too dull for me. So I put some haunting tech house in the background. I also thought that the video could use some philosophical contemplation on the subject. I have always wanted to use the "Pale blue dot"-quote by Carl Sagan for something and when this project came up I just knew that the time has come.

Hope you enjoy...

  • can somebody tell me whats the movie at 07:08? with the submarine

  • @Frosmad "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" is an American comedy-drama film directed, written, and co-produced by Wes Anderson. It is Anderson's fourth feature length film, released in the U.S. on December 25, 2004. It was written by Anderson and Noah Baumbach and was filmed in and around Naples, Ponza and the Italian Riviera.

  • does anyone else see the SMILEY FACE when zooming out from earth in the beginning?

  • @Fastlan3 Yeah, I saw it, now that you mentioned it. But keep in mind that, that "image" could have been anything, a smiley face, a blow dryer, a TV-character. You would still have regognized it as "it". No matter, what it really was. But yeah, it's kind of weird... Keep smiling :)

Oh, I certainly don't make anything of of it, haha...but it is a visual enjoyment. I like smiley faces, hence why I might be more keen on noticing it , compared to the next person.

The entire video was extremely enjoyable as well, although I wish it were of better resolution as the words are a bit fuzzy even in 720p.
