i have a question i got hired at a bank as a teller in Honolulu,HI and i start on monday i dont have any banking experience and to be honest dont know much about this industry..can you give me any info on what you went thru when you first started and about the test and just tips i would really appreciate it..thanks

@cjb92011 OH goodness, well first of all- congratulations on the teller position! I must say it was the most fun position of all my positions in the banking industry. What bank are you going to be working for? A small private bank or a major corportion such as Chase or BOFA? There is a math test usually but you would have passed that to be starting on Monday. My biggest tip would TAKE YOUR TIME WITH EACH CLIENT. The largest mistakes are made the quickest.

Its a small bank call Territorial savings bank but i actually didnt take any type of test i just had a phone interview and in person interview then the next day they offered the position but they are aware that i dont have any banking experience but the thing is im not that good a math and dont know what to expect???

that's was really informative :).. I like it.. & i always do the same steps for not only dealing with my personal banker also with any type of manager i bump into ..my signature is my kindness and my weird subjects :P, like do u watched breakout kings last night or what is your favorite fruit haha.. i'm being funky that's all !! being memorable gives u a lot of advantages over the other normal clients !!.. i say u should keep on uploading banking tips.. cuz u r really good at this subject.
