Stevenson University junior quarterback C.J. Hopson finds freshman receiver Jae DeShields for a 67-yard touchdown on a reverse flea flicker as the Mustangs defeated Christopher Newport 46-43 in double overtime in their first game in Mustang Stadium on September 10, 2011. It was the first win in just the second game in school history for Stevenson.
Would you ever consider e-mailing the administration with this? At first I thought you were somebody I knew because your explanation sounds exactly like so many I've heard before, down to the football team and flat-screen tvs. After I realized you aren't, I guess it meant that there are a whole bunch of students who feel the same way. Perhaps if the school was informed of how upset their students were, they'd react differently?

@shepherd0 It's not really money, they care about expanding, and to expand you need more money unfortunately.

@shepherd0 We are unhappy because the school keeps spending our money on unimportant things. We really didn't need a football team, the school just wanted to attract more people, and now it's attracting the type of people, who most students here came to this school to avoid. They keep spending money on the footballs team and flat-screen TVs instead of repairing buildings and upgrading our dining services. Maybe if they spent our money more wisely we wouldn't mind a raise in tuition.
