I first heard this song while waiting to ship out for Vietnam sitting on a top bunk in a dark barracks late one evening at Oakland Army Base looking across the Bay at San Francisco. I have always loved it and will never forget the song or the monment. I can listen to the song, close my eyes and still see those lights. That was 37 years ago. Great songs will live forever.

This was a special song between me and a dear friend back in the 70's (my high school years). I was born in April and my friend would say that with me he would always have a piece of April in his life. Such precious memories.
