  • Are you using the Reason amp here? It's hard to tell with the compressed YouTube audio.

  • @sixstringfretter I am actually running direct into the little outdoor Peavey PA the local music store provided for the event. I fully expected to have to change the pickups on my Epiphone Emperor, but this is evidence of how good they are! I didn't have my Reason Bambino at this point. I don't even think they were building them until 2009. :) Hope this helps.

  • Great. I was a student of yours (online, of course) and I fell in love with the Bambino. I am ordering one for my son this Christmas and he wants to take the online lessons that I did. I can't believe that the Peavy PA sounds that good! There are many who cover Joe Pass, but you not only capture his technique, but his spirit as well, and that is a tough nut to open. I am working on "Autum Leaves" and that has some very difficult chord progressions. Sigh...I'll never figure it out. Thanks!

  • @sixstringfretter Reason amps are outstanding. I think the Grande Bambino is the only one with reverb though. So, keep that in mind.

Joe Pass was a big inspiration to me. I am proud to do my small part to carry his torch. FYI, I have some free Jazz style lessons on the Gibson lesson site. Best of success with guitar! Thanks for listening.

  • Very nice and smooth, I like the tone too :)

  • @Moca87 Thanks!

  • I hope you enjoy it. I love mine. Thanks for your comment. FWIW, in that vid I am not even using an amp; it's running right into a small outdoor PA!
