Green Schools Advocate and LPA Design Principal Wendy Rogers interviews with CNN features reporter Brad Pomerance.

As the Green Schools Advocate for the U.S. Green Building Council Rogers works tirelessly to promote the adoption and execution of green schools in Southern California.

In addition to volunteering for the non-profit, Wendy serves as a Design Principal at LPA. During her 22-year career, she has designed more than 50 projects, half of which have achieved awards for design excellence. Her specialty is the integration of design and curriculum within educational spaces, especially for K-12 schools .

In her lifetime, Rogers would like to see every school built green.

  • it should be required to build things to be as sustainable and energy efficient as possible.....no matter if it is a school, a car, a home, whatever. And it should cost less to construct something like this because of the world's benefit of having a sustainable "green school," creating less of an impac,t rather than the traditional designs.
