Does that stand to reason that John McCain is also "looking to be careful of what he says" for the sake of altering his so called "image"? You just said in two different ways that actually both of these men do the same thing....

Obama went to a great college and all, and he is articulate but...maaaan, oh man does he hesitate a LOT when he's talking. He's always looking to be careful of what he says, always thinking 5 times about what to say, how it'll come out. He looks like a smart guy...who's really stressed !!
Mccain just gives you what he thinks - he might alter what he's saying for his image but he just gives you common sense straight away.

I want my president to be articulate and very smart.
Obama made a good point when he said that it is hypocritical to have to defend himself for the very thing that we embrace as the "American Dream".
There are a lot of other qualities that make a good President and a person who tries to respond to the needs of
others, but this kind of criticism is trivial to be sure.
Personally, I don't want "Joe Six-Pack" as the head of our country, even if he is a great guy (or woman).
