I actually like this performance more than the 25th anniversary one.

to date he is one of the best Javerts I have heard, oh ya, he is hot too...
-
He's fantastic, but I like Terrence Mann better as Javert.

I think Lewis sounded better in the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Concert, but if he's really going to be Javert in the movie of the musical, I really hope the hairdressers use this Broadway look. His haircut for the concert was so jarringly twenty-first century that I had trouble believing in the character.

I do too! But i also liked with Philip Quast the he pronounced every word. . it gave it that. . "yeah i am in charge. . and no one can mess with me." type of attitude.

I honsetly believe that Norm did a better job of performing the role of Javert in the 25th anniversary concert.

Norm Lewis and Philip Quast are the greatest Javert's in my opinion!
AMAZING!

HEY YOU FUCKING HATERS! If you think its so bad, then why the hell dont you get up there and sing it? Look who's up on the stage in all his glory, and look whose isnt. SIMPLE!!
Norm Lewis is one of the greatest bari-tenors broadway has ever seen
Did i mention he just got tapped to play Porgy in a reimagined modern jazz influenced version of Porgy and Bess, opposite Audra Mcdonald? in a boston production?
Someone obviously liked him enough to get him the role.
he is extrememly well known
Not enough Norm Lewis love people. Not enough! He's got such a great voice, very rich and powerful. He makes a very dramatic Javert.

I'd say try to be something more than just pissed. Remember you're a man you want to do what is right and what is moral you think that people are either bad or good there is no middle ground and no changing sides.
