Fact is, this couldn't even work as comedy if the reality wasn't there to be seen.

Tesco are one of the most glutonnous money-sucking devices on the planet. First supermarkets, then mega-supermarkets EVERYWHERE, but not enough for them. So, into local areas to mop up the crumbs, with several specs. of smaller stores, fuel station stores.

But hey, it's not Tesco's fault, oh no, it's the usual stooge, the evergreen, dividend-hungry "Our shareholders". The ultimate distractionary fall guy.
