Such is art...it starts pure, then the remakes come. In 2008, The Killers was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". Please leave well along Hollywood.

God, looks like Reardon had respect for Kitty Collins instead of viewing her as cold heartless and amoral and being disgusted. That's why men get screwed by women like that, they admire them. That's what they want.

good stuff... I remember seeing this one I first got AMC along with Out of the Past, I think AMC was commercial free then and they tended to show the same movies several times over a period of time..Film Noir classics..
