Bill Gates - Biography (Part6 of 6)

Bill Gates made a huge change in the world and how people communicate with each other. Today, we search for jobs online, we gain huge amounts of information without going to a library, we no longer are totally dependant on receiving letters to hear from loved ones. We watch movies, play games, listen to music, shop, bank, video chat, attend college, plan vacations and even communicate with people of other languages through the computer, and that`s just a few of the things we do with computers!

But if it wasn't for Xerox, Apple wouldn't have their GUI. If it wasn't for Apple's GUI, Apple wouldn't have System 1. If it wasn't for System 1, Windows 1.0 wouldn't have copied the Mac and failed. Just saying :)

Me too friend. For the last 5 years my Dad worked in a crapy office while spending time in a free software project. Just to find out the his name not even appears in the credits page of the program and he never got any feedback from any user o coworker. One day he told me he felt sorry that i had to work to finance my high school. With all his knowledge of Linux he manage to get a degree as a Certificated Microsoft Engineer and since then his being making money from his skills, is that bad?
