I have seriously considered the Sig, and now I'm definitely going to get one.

@TheGorillatavern I love mine too.
After the first thousand rounds my LCP started eating any ammo I feed it just fine.

@toddn350 I should have mentioned that the p238 comes in several models with a wide price range. Thanks for the info!

I first bought the ruger lcp... Hated it. The trigger is horrible and I find its not that reliable. It is very comfortable in the pocket thought. And its cheap. But I like reliability. I paid 449 for the Sig p238 and I love it. A little bigger than the ruger and more expensive but a much better gun

@thechoppshop Wish I had invented it myself. I'd be rich!

I don't agree that choosing between the two is simply a matter of budget. Budget was not a problem for me and I still chose the LCP. It's thinner, lighter, more concealable, has a simpler battery of arms, etc..

@desertkoi Proving yet again that there's one for everyone!

Being a first time female gun owner and recent CC, I chose to go with something that I KNEW would not require me to think about making sure I had a bullet in the chamber or if I had the safety off in a high stress situation. I chose a revolver, specifically the SW Bodyguard. Now that I have been carrying for a bit, and I have had some practice with a few of my male friends pistols, I think I am ready for one. I like the P238. Thanks for the info. I need one of those bags too!

@heartlandcountrygirl I hope it works well for you. The key to not having to think about it is lots of practice.
