I am working on completing the rig for the Phoenix. Currently fabricating the chainplates and sewing the sails.

  • Will you be videoing the installation of the chainplates?

  • yes,

I am going to be videotaping all progress. Instalation of the chain plates will be after I haul the vessel out to work on the hull. I do not know when that will happen. Over the next year much will take place. sew 3500 square feet of sail, shape 12 spars, install standing and running rigging, clean & paint 50 ton ferrocement hull. Next time I videotape something I'll zoom in on a copy of the plans so my objective is plain to see.

  • a place much to noisy for Iris i guess?

  • noise isn't so bad, but equipment is pretty hazardous.
