I disagree Ford deserved to be killed. For one thing Cole is the son of two legendary characters of course he wouldn't die, it would make no sense. Second Ford had no ties or family history like Cole did the closest he came to a legendary character was Jess. Cole also acknowledged what he did & knew it was wrong. Ford on the other hand never considered it rape; it doesn't matter if Jess forgave him, he did rape her. That's why he died & his reward was heaven not hell bc he realized what he did.
