STOP CRITICISING HIS CHOICE OF GRIP!!! Judges don't look at what kind of grip the snares are playing with, so why should it matter what grip you play with??? Use whatever grip you are best at!!! CHOICE OF GRIP is NOT on the judges' score cards, but how well you play is, no matter what grip you use. One of our snares this year sucked at traditional, so my band director told him to play everything with matched grip.

Okay well first that snare is tuned terribly, second those are not even marching sticks,third matched grip on snare is for bad snare lines. That is all.
