The problem with Air-Guns is that there is no room for mistake, you HAVE to hit a vital organ for a kill. The video of the guy shooting the 2000 pound Bison is proof. He said "let's just wait for him to go down"....What? Use a real rifle with real bullets that will not need to be a perfect shot to still be humane. Air rifles are not humane. I have shot one. You better take a large caliber pistol for a follow up head shot.

not true. it has taken longer for a bison to die shot with a REAL GUN. ive killed tons of animals and had them go down quite quickly.

3500 psi of air. no co2.. we use an airtank to fill it.

In fact killing a free range animal in a split second with no pain is FAR more humane that the meat these fuckin idiots get from the shop thats been bred and slaughtered in a non free environment. fucking idiots. we have insisor teeth for a reason, to eat meat, and funilly enough the only natural way to get that is to kill an animal.

WTF, that is awesome. Iv heard on .177, .22 and .25 etc, but never .457 air rifle. What kinda power does that have and also, how many shots do you get with a full fill?

@rrussell39 You have to hit a vital organ for a kill with any gun unless you nare using poison bullets I have seen many Bison shot with big bore "real guns " they just die slow they are tough animals....more knowlege less ignorance

the bigbore air rifles will also take the actual rifle lead guys i have a 50 cal and shoot the 550 grain power belt bullets and they lay down the large game i have takenelk moose and bear with mine
