the only reason why the jedi seem to lose these wars is because they r totally unprepared im not insultin u but heers what happened the jedi defeated the sith and drove them to the brink of extinction then once victory was assured the republic relax have a little r and r u know cause their main enemies have been defeated or so they thot besicaly the sith regroup with even stronger forces making life difficult for the jedi

this narrative is genius. most SW stories are climactic. meaning, there is an uphill climb, a major battle, and a victory by either side.
in this, they have created a story (the uneasy peace) which will allow people to live in a sith vs jedi environment for a long period of time, with no major battle to end the conflict.
