Follow up to the first worming, this is the same basic mix with the second Panacur dose and Flagyl too. I also put a dab of baby oil on each eye cap and examined a couple of bumps I am keeping an eye on. All in all, quite easy to deal with this one.

  • I didnt do that on the first worming video probably just because of the camera angle you wouldnt have seen anything. I probably did it this time just to be quicker. I have only a very narrow area that I am sitting in so if I do pull it out of the cage I have to be more careful to keep out of range. The snake is longer than my work area is wide. It was as easy as it looked doing it this way.

  • The first short hook I had was the one Archie made, I wanted to use that but the snake was behind the hanging bamboo at the back. This cage is 2 feet tall and sometimes this snake will hood up almost to the ceiling. A short hook would not be a good idea because Im basically sitting on the floor just in front. The wooden pinner works just fine to tap the head and make it lay down. The corn was a funny, couldnt plan that one. There are a bunch of Normisms in this that most would not notice.

  • Si Señor. I have a few in case this snake decides to eat something. That one might be a little big, but its there if it wanted it. I held one in tongs and let it bite it, but it was a dry bite. The corn is doing fine! This gets 2 oz of a food mix in this tube feeding/worming, so it wont starve. Hopefully it will eat on its own soon.

  • Nice vid :)

  • i noticed that you only pin stuff while its still inside its enclosure. is there a particular reason?

  • lol, I was wondering about that when I saw it creeping towards the door! :P

After I thought about it, I thought, "Oh yeah, dinner"

Fantastic video, and the King looks beautiful. Seems to be doing rather well.

I have been using the "rodent administration" of Panacur for the squams so far.

Nice to see the pinning stick in action.

  • ones again a great vid!!! was that a corn snake that was inside the enclosure ??
