Security camera footage is always interesting. An ATM surveillance camera from First State Bank in Parkersburg caught this footage of a house being destroyed by the EF-5 tornado. It is video from the camera in the bank's drive up ATM machine. This shows the house across the street being hit by another roof and then having its roof torn off.

At ground level wind flows into a tornado, not out.

That part at 0:17 is creepy. As the power flash happens, it looks like you can see the moving shadow of the tornado cast on the house.

It's crazy watching these stormchasers trying to place their probe cams in just the right spot and an ATM security camera is pretty much right in the middle of a tornado.
Insert irony here_________.

I'm fascinated by how the wind seems to be going in almost the opposite direction right befoe the tornado hits. I'm not good at fluid dynamics, but I'd guess the spiraling winds acts like a slingshot at the edges of the tornado, throwing stuff (air) outwards, instead of in.

Crazy stuff. I was out there that day and you just knew that it was going to be a bad day.
