I Care - washable sanitary towels by Afri-can Foundation

Girls in the rural area and the slums miss 3-5 days of school every month. This is because there is no money for sanitary towels. And the cloths (sometimes even sand and leaves) that are used leak and are unsanitary. Shame keeps the girls from going to school. As a result, many of them drop out of school.

Afri-can Foundation is going to set up a project that will produce washable sanitary towels.
