Service Dogs Walk on the National Mall

On April 1, Service Dogs of Virginia visited Washington D.C. to see the cherry blossoms and expose our pups to the hustle and bustle of a big city. With all of the tourists around, it was a great day for Magepig, Raven, and Piper to experience crowds, buses, traffic, and a ride on the Metro. At the National Mall, we met up with Nelson, one of our autism dogs who was placed last week, and Talos, one of our Great Danes who's being trained to be a balance dog. Together, we set off for a stroll, turning more than a few heads as we paraded around the Mall.
