Vib Gyor - Fallen

Vib Gyor are a band originating in Leeds (GB). Their debut single "Fallen" was released on the 17th July 2006. Produced by Mike Cave at Liverpool's Parr Street Studios, receiving airplay on both sides of the Atlantic.

Yeah, you could hear a few U2 influences, the singer indeed sounds a bit like Bono with the longer 'sounds' and the guitar technique sounds a bit like it.

But this band is sooo much better and way more indie, awesome band! 5/5

I really like it when I discover a group that's new to me and has a really interesting sound! That doesn't happen everyday of one's life. You can say they sound like xxxx or xxxx, but it's the whole that's interesting. This is interesting!!!

@louisebakalik That's just how the human brain works, constantly categorizing, comparing, deciding whether something is good, bad, better, worse, safe, unsafe, etc. It's automatic to try & place music and to try to verbalize our reactions to sound. It's not necessarily good/bad, just normal for most. My greatest joys come when I CAN'T find anything comparable or as good as what I'm hearing, then I know I've found that rare gem, an up & coming original talent I feel grateful to have found. :)

This is actually a very early demo version of Fallen - If you listen to the album version it is faster and more punchier - and about 4 minutes long.

why does a song have to "sound" like another singer or band to you? If it is a new song you've never heard, why not take it as it is, not like you want to shape it to be? why want to be in your comfortable niche listening to only comfortable music? There are amazing songs out there that don't "sound" like anyone else. This song stands on it's own merits, not U2 or Bono. Give us a break.
