Rappelz - Archer Tutorial - Basic Targeting and Cycling

A 10 min farming clip I put together to show some basic targeting techniques with the Archer. Pay close attention to the mobs being targeted vs the mobs being attacked. I tried to go basic here with no Mental Con or excessive use of AOEs. The goal is to show how the mobs are being pulled and how to smootly switch from mob to mob while minimizing wasted attacks or damage.

Once you get this process down correctly you can proceed faster and faster until you hit 1000+ kills/hr with a nice tight spot and a steady supply of mobs. (And a pet that doesn't miss ^^)

The Archer can be a complex class to play correctly and many give up for easier classes. Once mastered the Archer is amongst the fastest farmers despite it's slow basic attack speed and low mana pool.

I will try to make a video with some more advanced techniques that involve snaring, quick-chipping multiple mobs for use of AOEs and target swapping with your pet.

In this video I have an abnormally low HP and high MP, so my guess is I'm using Luck Rings. But at all times I have Dex, Vit, Luck, Agi and Eager rings on me so I can change to suit my needs.

I farm faster with an r4 archer with a rp menz. and i farm champ mbos 115-120

The goal wasn't to farm fast, otherwise I wouldn't be in this spot ;) I wanted to show a targeting technique and I needed it nice and slow :P
