Lord Byron lived for a while in Newstead Abbey. You can stand behind the waterfall in the Abbey grounds, and peacocks still abound.

  • >=-(

  • fuck you lord byron and fuck you your reported threats in english in this BORING documentary

  • wel Byron was something more then a good writer. like Nietzsche say in Zarathustra, i like the books of those who write it in their own blood ( other words, you live, suffer, and enjoy life FIRST and THEN write....

  • in the courtyard of the abbey itself

  • Aww I live about 20 mins drive away. Some friends and I know a footpath to get into the grounds for free and we had a walk in in August. I love the alleyways in the gardens, hiding places. Always new it as the secret gardens when I was a kid lol and used to love going underneath the waterfall

  • I'll have to visit this place with a volume of Byron's verse as a companion.
