We're singing this in choir for our Christmas concert. This is so hauntingly beautiful, and I thought I hated Christmas carols. It would be amazing if I could find this version without vocals. Not that I don't like the singer(she's amazing), but it would be just as amazing without vocals.

Oh my goodness! Sang this song in elementary school choir (45 yrs. ago) and never realized how much history it has or how popular it is. A most hauntingly beautiful rendition of a song that has haunted me for years. So glad to learn more about it! Thank you!
