Cold winter mountains, snow, lots of shooting. During the busy holidays, I meet up again with buddies BuggetNuster and ArmedSerenity for a frigid winter party in the high desert. We celebrate the Christmas in our own unique way as you might surmise here after watching TNP for awhile: a warm fire in the wilderness, some good food, and shooting. A good variety of guns are used to pop the 175 yard and closer in steel targets in a short course I set up for us. The far ridgeline has the Hostage Swinger plate and multiple Evil Roys targets on it and provides a fun and challenging shooting gallery. Later in the day we'll hike, do some night shooting, and hook into some good fire-grilled food. It's not really a gear testing outing but we can't help but make some observations along the way. The TNP Mosin Nagani #4 starts off the fun and you'll see appearances by the Rock River Elite Operator2, Bushmaster AR-15, H&K 91, AT-94, DPMS LR-308, Sig P226 E2, and S&W M&P9 Pro Series. Along the way we are treated with truly epic scenery and a sunset to be remembered.//////////////////////////Music licensed from talented TNPr Dudio! at www.youtube.com/eldudio

  • epic backdrop

  • Nutnfancy: Operators Operating Operationally.

  • If you spend $500.00 on EOTech sight and it flakes out like that, that to me is rediculous. COLD is not an excuse, that thing should be 100%. I don't know what type of usage you have on that thing, but EOTech ought to be calling you offering to warranty it.

  • @crazy0ace1 Ammo is inexpensive for plinking. you get a lot of fun out of your $100. Silver Bear makes some soft point ammunition that probably be better for hunting but I have never tried it.

  • That hk g3 like rifle is awesome.

  • nothing like going out to a remote area with your friends and having a little fun

  • Thanks for the info on that scope mount for that old WW I/II Mosin Nagant rifle. Seems odd to drop 50% of the cost of the rifle for just the mount - but it does make it a much better long range weapon for these tired old eyes of mine.

What I found that helps with cold hands is "hot hand warmers" - keep an extra set or two in my truck/auto - they last for hours. Basically they are O2 absorbers.

  • It never hurts to take a break from the gear testing and make memories with your friends, especially if we get to see some different gear going on in the process.

Thanks for some beautiful camera shots in this video. You've got some great scenery right there. ^_^

  • This video was incredible! Thanks Nutn! I have an Operator 2 and I'm excited to hear more about that Troy rail!
