Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete
Boss Battle #13
Red Fiend

==============================

Strategy?

Be sure to equip all Fire reducing equipment/rings--Wind & Water rings. If you want, equip a character (I chose Hiro) with the White Dragon Crest, it's not necessary though, just helps.

Hiro: Poe Sword all the time. White Dragon Protect can be cast when there's a ring of fire surrounding the boss. The attack is rather strong, it ALMOST 1HKO'd Lemina without Fire protection during my first attempt at the boss.

Ronfar: Saint Litany 1st round. Then healing duty whenever needed, Shining Litany for kicks (It does SOME damage D:)

Jean: Dopple Dance if you want, otherwise stick with Blue Dragon Palm.

Lemina: Ice Arrows FTW. Be sure to cast Erase Magic whenever the field changes to fire.

Lucia: Well, she's more useful now than before. Atomic Burn = 200+ damage per turn. D:

==============================

Overall, make sure you have some Fire resist on your key characters (Ideally Ronfar and Lemina). I equipped them on Hiro and Jean just for kicks, but the White Dragon Protect helped Lemina from dieing. The boss can be beat without much trouble.

  • I remember getting SO lost the first time I played this game that I ended up training to level 50 while in this cave. All I did was use triple sword, use Ronfar to heal, Blue Dragon Palm and I used Lemina to protect me with the white dragon crest. This battle was over in five turns...

  • That's insane. I can't imagine being lost till level 50.

  • Nope. I've considered it, but there are others that have already played & uploaded SSSC on Youtube.

    Besides, I already have a bad habit of not finishing Lunar Eternal Blue Complete within, what, 3 years; so, I'm not too sure if I want to replay Silver Star Story.

    I'm definitely purchasing the remake for PSP, and I would record a playthrough of that, but I have no means of recording it in good quality.

    Thanks for watching my videos nonetheless.

  • @TelicNotionX, I was wondering---Have you completed a walkthrough for Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete? If you haven't, I hope you consider it, because I recently got the game from a small video store in SC. Look forward to more awesome walkthrough/playthroughs from you!!

  • Wow 30 minutes. I haven't tried Lunar silver star story complete yet but i know when i do and get to the very end its gonna be a pain. The zophar battle for this one took almost 45 minutes

  • 30+ minute last boss for Silver Star Story Complete was always fun. That was how long my first attempt was. D:

  • Yea i know but i heard that he was extremely hard in the first one so maybe they just made it easier

  • The good news was that the dungeons were easier to go through, but the bad news was that Ghaleon was SO easy to beat it was ridiculous

  • Sounds like me only i did it in the Blue dragon cave. It took forever dude. But it was worth it it took only 2 turns cause lemina powered up my triple sword and i used that. Then i used anger dice with Ronfar and with Jean Blue Dragon palm

  • out of all of the fiend battles, this is my favorite
