  • yes of course you have to go all the way down. there is only one way to do anything. the right way, which also happens to be the most difficult and therefore the most productive. my best dip, meaning all the way down with zero bounce and then back up until the tricep is fully contracted is 200lbs. great for improving tricep thickness and bench press power. I grew up in the arnold era. if anyone dipped like most do today they'd be thrown out of the gym. dr.C

  • most guys out there do..."half way" fast dips......even with weights....i call it "workout for pussies".....I think dips are great if you go all the way down....
