Why do people think Amy and Vince committed adultery just because they were friends before the divorces took place. I have known Amy for a long time, and she is quite an honest person, and even if it cost her some fans, she would not hide something like that from the public. But like others here have said, we are not her judge. I will support Amy with the Love of Jesus through eternity!

@wenatcheeduo I was'nt focusing on the sin or judging her I said what God's word says about it and yes his grace does cover all sin but not when we have his word to live by and should know how he wants us to live and he did not grant divorce jesus said from the begining that it was not so what god has joined together let not man put us under those are christ words Moses because of the hardness of the people's heart granted divorce not God read the word its there and his word is truth

God is capable of presiding in His court! He does not need our judicial input. We should work on evading ALL the vices of the arch enemy rather than allowing him use of our precious breath and time to slash or pinpoint the missteps of others.

@executiveassistant07 What sins have you committed and people gave you a second chance. Guess I thought of that judgemental stuff went out with the puritans.

@The24chevy48 Too bad your kind focuses on this one sin and not the sin of arrogance and self-righteousness. Who are you to judge and condemn anyone? Ultimately that is God's choice and if you truly believe in the Gospel of Christ, you will know that his grace covers all sin.

one day when one of you that are judging her...fall...and fall hard...really hard..and are abadoned and betrayed and rejected by your best of bestest friends...and you look around you and all you can find in an empty room is a man in the back with nail scarred hands extending them to you...you'll know what I do. You'll know it's not about what Amy did...or didn't do...and you'll join the hurt and wounded begging for grace.

@cmdesign01 I have said for years that Christian's kill their wounded...

we are not to judge others is right but GODs word speaks about adultry the only thing that really excuses us from marriage is death this is what GOD wants Moses wrote divorce not GOD we can divorce but never get married again until one or the other dies and if we do then we commit adultry and we are not to associate with or repeat what they do read the word its not sugar coated praise be to GOD

If you read the story about them according to Vince Gill's wife, they did have an affair. His wife was very hurt.

I used to listen to her music before she was really well known, and loved to worship the Lord while listening to it. I stopped buying anything she put out, when she committed adultery and I never heard her repent publicly for taking another women's husband but instead called this man her soulmate. I will pray for her. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; but, there has to be repentance, and if not - the bible is very clear not to associate with a believer that lives in sin.
