Oseghe music by Iyaafin Ibukun of Emure Uli, Ondo State of Nigeria, deals with one of the ancient music in Emure Uli, Ogho LGA of Ondo State, Nigeria. The music starts with the regular IBA to the energies for support and blessing. In it, the energies of Osun, egunguns, and living elders--in terms of spiritual power--were given the usual and mandatory iba. The opening lyrics, "IBA mo je" (I give my Iba, and the iba is received"), continues to spiritual and cultural orikis, according to the universal practice of the Yorubas and in particular to Emure Uli.
