  • storing fly ash isn't a viable solution. The TVA seem unaware of the new RockTron technology, designed to recycle 100% fresh and stockpiled fly ash to produce industrial eco-minerals. The $5 billion cleanup budget could build 100 RockTron recycling plants instead, savinmg power plants millions, preserving the environment and protecting our valuable natural resources - check out RockTron fly ash on search engines!

  • As a resident of Knoxville, TN and living 25 minutes away from the spill I am thoroughly pissed off.

  • The spill is now estimated by TVA at about 1.8 million cubic yards or roughly 350 million gallons - the Exxon Valdez spill was 11 million gallons - the Martin County coal slurry spill in Kentucky (Oct 2000) was estimated at 306 million gallons and the EPA called it the "worst environmental disaster ever in the southeast" - and this TVA spill is even bigger
