I was driving home from work and I heard this song. I was speechless and the chorus was stuck in my head. I found the song and I'm glad I did. This song is very meaningful.

Reading the lyrics.....
It feels like a mourning for the person you once were, before the "world" went and polluted the beautiful person you once were.
The double use of driving nails.... (driving) angels from my door - the pushing away of all that is good, was good.
This IS a sad song. But a song of awareness that the good you once embraced you have allowed to depart. And that that is not a good thing.
