Thanks for the kind words. I always enjoy riding the subway, and it was great having my niece and nephew along. I really hope to do more videos of the various places I enjoy taking the subway. Had my batteries not run out five minutes after getting above ground on Hollywood, there would have been a little more to this video.

Speeds on many transit systems are dependent on whether the line is heavy or light rail. Heavy rail typically has a dedicated right of way. So speeds may get up above 60 mph. Light rail is the streetcar/trolley type infrastructure such as is used on the Blue Line. They will run probably around 45 mph.

Sweet vid; love the music and the escalator shots, especially the closing shot at 1:28. To top it, it's something everyone should do, ride the Redline. Let's see more...
