  • Back when MTV actually cared about alternative rock and NOT Jersey Shore! Such a sad sight to see hardly any music videos anymore on MTV :(

  • @comicbookprodigy995 last time i checked it was, i could be wrong though.

  • Kool...

  • @Hamburgers585 Pandora's free? Sweet! i didn't know that. Thanks!

  • @comicbookprodigy995 no need to apologize man i can relate. the internet is a great tool to discover new bands my favorite is pandora radio just type in a band ya like and it will play artists you may like

  • @Hamburgers585 Sorry, I was just putting bands I listen to that are still in the biz. Yeah members of Creed got tired of dealing with the lead singer and grabbed Myles Kennedy and wallah! And here where I live, all we get it pretty much country and KJ103 (Rap and hip hop).

  • @XiarrCosmos

she's attacking the white corporate maleness of grunge rock and the machoness of rappers sarcastically, she had a awful interview with LL CoolJ way before this album came out and wrote this song was meant to mock him and his fakeness "Wooorddd uppp" it's also to an extent about the black panthers

  • @Jamminsince91 I'm in a band, not quite there yet. Do you know why? The only record exec we met (august last year) said we were outdated and 'the 90's are over'. In protest we wrote a song called '90's throwback' and sent to several radio stations... look for us on a street corner near you.

  • @CiderJackson Hey! This song is one of my TOP favorites! Fuck "wilyrandolf" - one of the most influential elements that made alot of the music from the 90's so important WAS that most bands were singing about important issues! I think I have a vague idea of what the song is about, but I would be so appreciative if you could tell me what you think the song is about. Because I'm not totally sure, and I would really appreciate your insight CiderJackson! Take Care!

  • @comicbookprodigy995 shinedown? really? wasnt alterbridge a side project of CREED? with the exception of pinback, mainstream radio does play those bands. there are still cool bands around today that don't sound like mediocre post grunge and are being creative while sounding awesome, there's star fucking hipsters, mars volta (and we get at the drive in back), bomb the music industry, world inferno friendship society, cage the elephant, the falcon, tub ring, gogol bordello, you just gotta search
