  • The noise is mostly from the tires on the road and my daughter filmed it right next to the car as it went by so it picked up everything. It is considerably less noisy then the gas version of this car.

  • Is it that loud?

    By the way, congratulations!

I'm planning to convert a Hyundai Elantra but the project is on hold until I can get my income stream back up.

Can you tell me how hard it was to get the adapter plate?

  • I can make the adapter plate for you. Let me know when you are ready. All you have to do is send me the face plate of your clutch disk and a few measure measurements from your bell houseing. If you want to do it yourself, let me know.

  • Thanks for the offer! I am interested in the process for making it... I seem to recall the video where you bolted it on was very dark and hard to see anything. Didn't you order it from one of the suppliers like Electro Automotive? Or did you make it yourself? I can't remember.

  • I originally got the coupler from EV America and I cut the adapter plate out myself. My partner and I can create our own as he has been building EVs since the 1970s. Just PM me and I can make it for you if you want.

  • "Suppose to sound like," sure. It's easy to electronically imitate a modded car sound. Just look around in youtube. At least this Tiburon no longer has to deal with emissions output and ,depending on the electric motor, can make your Tiburon look like it was standing still right off the line.

  • take a look at my Tiburon...it is what the car is supposed to sound like.
