The term "Big-Block" is a GM term. No true Ford enthusiast uses the term "big-block." Ford classified all their engines by series. The FE is just that, the FE series. It's not a big block FE, it's just a FE.
When you say big block FE it's like saying "I drive a Ford Silverado."

Damn, that's sweet. My great-uncle had a '72 f100 Ranger long bed with a 390, c6, power brakes, A/C, and power steering.
