i'm sorry, but i don't understand artists who make music on their own but "hire" people to perform with them. that's just not how things should be done.

I know, feel the same.. but still, albert is a part of the strokes. this feels more like his sideproject. and I've met his bandmates and they're former friend of albert, some of them have been working with strokes etc.

and really, hw wouldn't be able to perform totally on his own, he needs musicians...

if he's writing the music, having new musicians often, should he still have a band name? when he 's the only one that's always there. if you think artists shouldnt make own music unless their really alone you are weird, i cant imagine a single big artist that's all by himself when performing, or recording music.

its not that i think he should perform on his own, its that if he is performing with a group of people he should have a band and name it so he's not the only one getting credit. imagine what its like to tour as albert hammond jr's back up band and hardly ever get your name mentioned.
