Nice setup, Now my question is how do you control the temp without a PID or some type of power controller? you will need it to maintain a constant temperature.

@emoneyblue I suspect it's a similar process/idea as 'toping-up' a boiling kettle. Or the same idea as boiling potatoes for 20 mins :o)

Awesome clip, very professional, unlike most of the dangerous/lethal suggestions out there! A little suggestion! I always tie my hair back when working with mechanical instruments or tools.

It's great to see fractional distillation done right! You should get excellent separation of the alcohol and water with that column.
