1:17 foot marginally touches the line

I'm english and no try, his toes (literally his toes) scrape the line before coming up, the ref should have looked at the grass and seen the mark where his boot scraped across the line...however I remember the ref having a word with pieterson (or however you spell it) for playing the 9 illegally (hence the penalty) and so should have at least awarded a yellow card if not a penalty try for a try saving infringement...

@deytora I'm really not sure that it did. Doesn't matter, we mightn't have won the game anyway, the referee's call stands and we lost and deserved to and we were poor at 2011 RWC. Hopefully we'll be better next time

The angle from 1:12 shows it to be a try, although that alone wouldn't have won England the WC. Still, 9-8 with 40 mins to play would have been interesting.
