True enough. I had a couple of RMI keyboards. They were fun but limiting. What I like about the D-85 is that it covers those EMI sounds for me when I need them. I'd love to own and keep everything. Just not enough room (or money). Cheers

similar but not not that close...that's why I had to pick up a real RMI ELECTRA PIANO....

@MARANTZamp - - -cool. I used to own an RMI. What I like now is having all those sounds under one keyboard, even if not exactly bang on. Mostly about those colour palettes. Cheers though -- cool find ..any vids of your RMI ?

Yes, the original Dr. John track was probably RMI, and I used to have a couple of those kicking around. These days I just like having one box that does all the analogue sounds I ever need. Cheers
