"all you guys on here talking shit....where is your video showing you lifting heavy ass weights"
I have managed gyms since 1975 and know a helluva lot more about weight training than you ever will. At 55 years old I don't lift heavy weights anymore but continue to train and stay active in the business. Over the years I have personally discussed training with like Boyer Coe, Lee Haney, Chris Dickerson, Frank Zane, Dennis Tinerino and many others. Everybody gets older, so what.
Which is an absolutely terrible example that proves nothing. Pros are not only genetically gifted freaks but they also take a truckload of illegal bodybuilding drugs that just about guarantees they will build muscle no matter how they train. The average trainee should never emulate anything the pros do as it will only end in failure and probably injury too.
You are sorely lacking in scientific knowledge about muscle size & strength. Research has shown that if a muscle doubles in size it will triple in strength & YES MOST DEFINITELY MUSCLE SIZE AND STRENGTH ARE RELATED.
The guy in this video is a complete jackass doing leg presses to help lift the weight and should not be imitated The other people you know that lift heavy weights & show little development are also jackasses because their form has to be as atrocious as this guy.
all you guys on here talking like you are fuckin pros that know shit... where if your video showing you lifting heavy ass weights and having this huge amount of muscle you all talk about? fuck off douche bags... what you read in the magazines or on bb.com doesnt mean you know shit. half that shit you read everyday is to make you feel less stupid so you keep buying their magazines and supplements. always commenting behind a keyboard about all the wisdom you have and nothing to show for it
@Neil6000 so you expect him to lift this weight and look like dorian yates? your insane man... i know people that lift heavier than this all the time and arent huge. look at olympic lifters that lift crazy ass weight.. their whole goal is to lift heavier every time but keep in the lower weight classes so they can place higher. muscle size doesnt always= muscle strength. bodybuilders are strong yes but not as strong as their size represents them to be.
first off i don't do the exercise anymore, second this video is 2 years old and i don't train nearly as heavy anymore, and third, you've never met me in person so you have no idea how developed my upper back is...
I agree - this guy is more interested in working his ego than his upper back.
You would think that he would realize that something is terribly wrong when he is yanking up as much weight (in terrible form) as Dorian Yates would lift strictly, but yet this guy doesn't carry any muscle.
These guys are clueless and will NEVER understand. What really bothers me about this guy is that he works as a personal trainer and is passing his bad habits on to other people.
hahaha, ok, btw, you replied to the wrong comment this one wasn't directed at you, this was from last year when i was still figuring out how to reply to people, and it just came up as its own comment, almost does look like a continuation of the other one though
