Love the lyrics in this song, totally applies to Billy

'took a little time to make it a little better'

took me and billy 4/5 months to get to where we are now. Did our first show on sunday came away with a 3rd out of 8 and qualified for championships which is quite a big show! He was so well behaved for his first show, he could have gone a little bit better, could have done with him more forward to show off his paces but I'm so pleased with him. Good baby horse! I was convinced I was going to get last. Judge loved him and said he's got some more growing to do! The warm up ring was on grass and very busy, he behaved like a pro, so was a very good test for him :)

These are all fairly recent clips, quite a bit of ground work as thats what he needs to get him more balanced. Its amazing to start to see my hard work pay off. Just need to master my confidence with hacking now and he will feel like my perfect horse! lol

  • aawww well done. my new horse is called billy, he is a skewbald cob 15.1hh. just a quick question what size boots do you have for him and is there any that fit cobs better. i have loads of boots but all really small from my tb. thanks and good luck with him you will get there xxx

  • @KINKYMINX21 thanks :) aww really, the boots I use are from my previous horse but fit Billy, they are shires brushing boots - cob size. Then have full size over reach boots, he's got big feet but finer legs and fairly short cannon bones. Think it depends how heavy your horse is and how much bone he has xxx

  • hes come on so so much, well done with him - you should be proud :) xxxx

  • @lauraa94x thank you thats means so much to me :) xxxxx
