The Band Of Holy Joy - Leaves That Fall In Spring

Band formed in London by Newcastle singer Johnny Brown in 1982. The band split up in 1992, shortly after issuing "Tracksuit Vendetta" recorded under the name Holy Joy. In 2002 as Band Of Holy Joy again they released "Love Never Fails" CD.
The band have been active since 2005 with numerous live dates including a string of gigs for the first time in the USA.Upcoming in Oct 2009 they will be returning to Greece to play a couple of nights.
The band are now just a 4 piece (Johny Brown,Chris Brierley,Paul O Donnell and Andy Astle) often being joined by a drummer and extra guitarists if the need arises!
A cd ep was released in July 2009 called A lucky thief in a careless world.

When will this be available on CD? I only have the vinyl version (which Jonny gave me himself!) and no turntable...

One of the greatest songs on the More Tales album..... I never get tired of hearing it even now, some 25 years on! It just evokes so much in me...... feelings of doubt, regret, hope, despair, elation, and vindication - all at once. Holy Joy make music that is as wild and ecstatic as a roundabout careering out of control - orchestrated chaos - and so brilliant with it.
