Today the United Workers announced the three worst employers at the Inner Harbor, based on the results of a survey of 147 workers taken since announcing the Human Rights Zone on October 25, 2008. Workers put Phillips, Cheesecake Factory and M&S Grill on notice for failing to respect the economic human rights of workers. After announcing the three worst employers, workers planned to delivers poster-sized notices to the businesses but were told by police that they'd be arrested for entering the Harborplace development. Even Rev. Brown, a faith ally of the United Workers, was not allowed to enter the Inner Harbor and deliver the notices to Cheesecake Factory, Phillips and M&S Grill.
