Smokey Robinson laying on that sweet soul sadness nice and thick. There's a little bit of life imitating art here. I'm the clown performing to myself in a sad, darkened room ( cue violins). Have you got any spare change mister? Played in G on the third fret.

  • just stumbled across this looking for tracks of my tears covers, nice job man! a really different interpretation of it that still stays faithful to the emotion of the original.

  • @havering3 Thank you very much H3. I'm glad you stumbled across this. Not many do. I like to put a different slant on originals if I can while doing my best to convey feeling. Your comment is much appreciated and perceptive.

  • Just found this, Nav, and it's great. Love the timing and the dips, especially around 2:12 ish when I expected a load of girls to start backing you with the chorus (you should be so lucky!) and you did the opposite and went quiet. Stars and regards.

  • Thanks man. Hope you managed to find

O'Shams yesterday in time for that pint.

    You deserve it.
