My fellow Twike-driver drives away in a Twike Active for the first time, very carefully.

  • What is there to see the thing cost 32K that makes it overpriced. The Aptera has a initial price of 30k. I can see the value in the aptera it can do highway speeds and has an incredible range. The twike looks neat but you have to do a little better than this.

  • The Twike can be bought today, while no one knows when - or even if - the Aptere will be on the road. Make no mistake: I like the concept of the Aptera, but please do not compare a real-world, hand-built, Swiss-quality vehicle with something that hasn't proven itself on the road.

  • I think viewers expect a bit more from a video that calls itself a 'test drive.' A more in-depth review of the Twike would really be helpful to potential buyers. We'd like to see interior shots of the cockpit, cargo area, etc., as well as your personal remarks about the vehicle's handling, speed, road noise, and range. Some videos show the driver using pedals like a bicyclist.

  • You've certainly got a point, but it wasn't my goal to publish a complete test drive video report. The short videos are for my own use, to put on my website, e-mail te friends, etc.

I did publish an extensive written report on my website (solarwebsite dot nl), but that's in Dutch so it's probably of little value to you.

If you want to know more about the Twike, just send me an e-mail, I'd be happy to provide more information.

  • IMHO that does not "look neat"! I like the concept, but you should have someone else designing the looks

  • I too am skeptical of a device such as Aptera not that the makers of the car aren't genuine in their representation but that governmental regulations will kill the car 1st car to be delivered in 10/08. We all know why things are the way they are the oil companies need demand for oil car manufactures do as oil companies want the courts need crime the intelligence services need war& drug prohibition all for power and money. All these liars are sharing in the demise of the world and peace.
