For Good [Christy & Miss Alice]

I originally thought of using this song for Christy & Fairlight's friendship, as I love Tess Harper's Fairlight, and their relationship has always been so moving to me. But the more I listened to the lyrics, I realized that they so perfectly described the molding experience between Miss Alice & Christy, possibly the most pivotal relationship in both the book and the TV series.

OMG...I love this video. Christy is my favorite book as well as probably being my favorite TV series of all times. The original one, I never got into the new one. Tyne Daley....WOW...she was ms alice.

Hee, thanks. I'm glad you liked the video. I've yet to watch the new movies. I go back and forth on it all the time: on the one hand, I'd love to see Neil and Christy get married; on the other hand, when there's no Kellie Martin, Tyne Daly, or Tess Harper, what's the point? I love Tyne Daly, but it actually took me a while to adjust to her as Miss Alice; she's so different from the way the books describe her. But within a few episodes, she completely won me over.

This is my favorite book of all time and I loved Tyne Daly's Miss Alice in spite of the fact that she looks so different then the Miss Alice in the book. I loved the TV show it is a shame that it had such a short run.

It is so refreshing to see an uplifting and wholesome video on youtube! Women do need other women as friends and mentors. I'm glad to see that kind of relationship celebrated in your video.

What a wonderful video! The video clips and song choice perfectly describe the relationship between Christy and Miss Alice. Tyne Daly's portrayal of Miss Alice is so perfect as Christy's mentor. Of course, Tyne Daly is perfect in every role she plays!
