It doesn't thermally shock the components?

How well the vaccum pick up tool works on the Aoyue 852A+ Station vs the EFD 1500DV ?
I am considering buying the Aoyue 852A+
Thanks for the video !

Took your Advice on the Preheater went with Aoyue 863. decided to replace the tierd 968. I went with the Aoyue 768 Rework station. It get to Temp. in seconds and cools down just as quick. Has a timed temp rise etc to finish the profile set on the pre-heater. The iron is more powerfull than the 968's I figured the power supply might come in handy for mobile phone repairs but thats about it as it will only push 15v @ 1 amp max. Haven't had a return since. I Really Appreciate yr help.Thankyou.

@andywarwick001 Really nice to hear that you have found something useful here in Youtube :) Looks like 768 is good choice and I think that you are going to have lot's of fun with that rework station. I wish you all the best and remember not to breathe any soldering fumes :)

Hey buddy. Ok I' have been getting by with a 968 for the lat 2 years re-flowing but the return rate on the re-flows is beginning to escalate. Will this help with the reliability factor and provide a better wetter?

@andywarwick001 If you mean Aoyue 853A Preheater I can heartily recommend it. It prevents thermal shock (PCB and components), saves time and gives better wetting if you reflow or rework multilayer boards. Nowadays I always use preheater (Aoyue or Martin) for reworks if it's possible.

I muted the volume. Instead of the stupid music you could simply explain what the hell you are doing at each step. That way someone would learn something from this.

@mickey0667 You're right, but it would take me too much and I don't want to spoil the video with my mumbling.
